STEER, Inc. is a non-denominational Christian global missionary support organization that currently supports 86 member mission organizations. Founded in 1957, STEER has distributed over 37 million dollars to help fulfill Christ's command to make disciples of all nations. (Matthew 28:19)

Updates from Beau's Desk
As we enter the fall season, please be in prayer for STEER, our farmers & ranchers, as well as all the missionaries we support.
STEER has begun its 365 Days of Prayer. Please join us in particularly praying for 365 new producers to join STEER this year. It certainly is a God sized prayer.
We enjoy Bismarck, ND and being part of the Bismarck/Mandan communities. Please know our office is staying right here in Bismarck.
Greater Vision will be with us at the STEER Barbecue on Saturday, July 18, 2026. The event will be held at GracePoint Church in Bismarck.
STEER's annual Missions Conference will be held on October 1 - 3, 2026 in Rapid City, SD at The Box. We are excited about introducing the STEER program to new producers in the heart of cattle country.
The STEER Roundup will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, in the beautiful Bavendick Stateroom on the campus of Bismarck State College.
How it Works
The cornerstone of STEER Inc.'s effort lies in its unique approach to raising mission support - an approach that harnesses the raising of livestock and growing crops as sources of ongoing support for missions. The support from STEER Inc. enables mission organizations to expand their reach and enhance the effectiveness of their work.
For the Farmers & Ranchers
The program has six easy steps:
- Legacy Fund is used to purchase livestock or agricultural products.
- Rancher feeds and cares for livestock or farmer grows preferred crop to support their chosen ministry.
- Rancher sells livestock or farmer sells crop and sends proceeds to STEER.
- STEER sends gain to mission organization.
- Mission organization gives proceeds to missionary.
- Missionary reaches people with the gospel and Heaven rejoices.
